    Mario Falcone

    Instructor

Mario discovered Salsa almost 5 years ago after a friend convinced him to join his classes for a month. He said yes after a lot of insisting- and it was love at first step. Salsa completely captured him. About a year and a half later, he found Bachata… and that love went even deeper. So deep, in fact, that he tattooed “bachateame” on his forearm!

With no dance background at all, learning to move, feel and connect though dance became something magical. What started as an escape- a place he could always go whenever he felt down- slowly became his life. Bachata, especially, is no longer just a dance to Mario; it’s a part of who he is and he genuinely cannot imagine his life without it.

Music is Mario’s daily dose of happiness and joy, inspired by artists like Romeo Santos, Prince Royce, and the soul of Dominican Bachata- Héctor Acosta, Raulin Rodríguez, and many more. Influenced by dancers like Marco&Sara and Luis&Andrea, he’s worked hard to build his own style, trusting the process and enjoying the growth.
Mario has competed around five times, earning a 1st and a 3rd place, but what he’s most proud of is the journey itself. There’s always more to learn, endless things to improve- and that’s what keeps him dancing!

Although originally a Co.Cavan native, Corey has lived in Dublin since2019, and can often be found haunting the dancefloors of the latin scene here. When not dancing, Corey can be found in a lab, where he is pursuing a PhD in the genetics of people who lived in ancient Ireland.

    Laura Vidal

    Crew

Laura has always had a deep passion for dance. From a very young age, she was inspired by dance shows and loved learning and practicing steps from street dance and funky styles on her own.

At the age of 15, she joined a local dance group, training in funky and sexy style, and performing in clubs in Granada, Spain. Over time, she also worked as a Zumba instructor, teaching in women’s associations and in a local gym, where she discovered how much she enjoyed sharing energy and movement with others.

Latin music and dance have always been a part of her life, especially thanks to her mother, which naturally led her to discover Bachata. After taking some time away from dance, she reconnected with this passion and has been fully dedicated to learning and growing in Bachata for almost a year now.

Laura is known for her energy and musicality, and she always aims to bring positive vibes, connection and enthusiasm into every class.
